Different results from CANDDi and other tracking tools

First things first, if you’re using other analytics tools alongside CANDDi, it is expected to see minor differences between tracking solutions.

For example it could be due to improper set up (pages missing the tracking code for example), visitor leaving a page before the tracking information is sent for processing, different IP filtering settings between trackers, cookie duration between the trackers and multiple other factors.

There’s not much you can do to stop it as they all work differently, but if you’re seeing major discrepancies, reach out to us at help@canddi.com and we’ll take a look.

Also have a look at the sections below to see if there’s anything else we can do to help.

How to stop CANDDi tracking showing in Google Analytics

If you want to keep your CANDDi and Google Analytics data separate, that’s not a problem!

Have a look at our guide on stopping CANDDi tracking showing in Google Analytics.

Google ‘blocked resources’

If you see this in your Google Analytics, don’t panic! All is as it should be. Google is trawling your pages looking at your content, so that it can make sure people get relevant results when they search.

The above means that the CANDDi code is not being deciphered by Google bots - Google alerts you of this because if it were part of your content, you would want it to be deciphered, or you might be missing out on visitors searching for this kind of thing!

But since it’s not useful for Google to be deciphering this code, it doesn’t matter. It won’t affect your search rankings in any way.
