You spend a lot of time drafting the perfect contact form to capture prospect information, but what’s the point if you can’t keep a beady eye over it? Well with CANDDi, you can.

We can drill down into the individual visitors having a nosey on your website by integrating with your existing digital marketing systems to capture various opt-in data. All of which will be driven into your handy CANDDi dashboard.

Can CANDDi track forms?

The short answer is yes. CANDDi will map the information it receives from the pages on your site with a set of known data types, such as First Name, City or Email Address. With this information, CANDDi can make smarter decisions and be more useful to you.

Why isn’t my data being pulled through?

Since we can’t just pluck data straight out of thin air, CANDDi can sometimes need help understanding what sort of data your website is using. You’ll know if we need a little push in the right direction as you’ll get a notification in your nightly summary email to any pages or forms that aren’t being decoded properly.

Should this be the case, follow the link in the nightly summary email, or navigate to “Site Tagging - Individual” through the Settings on your dashboard. When viewing the Site Tagging - Individual, you will see a header which shows a count of all the undecoded forms or pages. Click “Show page/form(s)” and you will be shown a filtered list.

To code up the page you want, click on the edit page. From here you’ll have 4 tabs to choose from - Page Settings, Tags, Fields and Widgets. Choose Fields.

You must then provide a value for each field shown. If there is not a CANDDi data type, just choose Ignore. Once you have set a value for each field click “Update Page”

When you save a page with new field information, CANDDi will reprocess all data held about this page. This may not be an instant process, and CANDDi will alert you with a green notification bar near the top of your screen once complete.

What happens if it’s still not tracking?

Well, that’s a bit of a problem isn’t it. Obviously, the aim of CANDDi is to track 100% of your website visitors, but sometimes it may not be possible because:

  • People are browsing with javascript turned off
  • People DO NOT have track headers turned on. CANDDi will respect these people who don’t want to be tracked.

If you’re using Jotform, you’ll have to add the following query string to your redirect page URL:

?ce={email}&cfn={name:first}&cln={name:last}&cph={phoneNumber}

This means CANDDi will be able to pick up the relevant visitor data.

If you’re using Ninjaforms, you’ll be glad to know it’s super simple. Log into your CANDDi dashboard and navigate to ‘Additional Tracking’ on your Identify tab. You should see a Ninjaforms option, which you can toggle to enable. Voila!
